Peran Peer Support Terhadap Academic Buoyancy Siswa
The Role of Peer Support in Students' Academic Buoyancy
Abstract
Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui hubungan antara peer support dengan academic buoyancy. Peneitian ini menggunakan metode studi literatur atau library research. Penelitian ini menggunakan 7 hasil penelitian yang terkait peer support dan academic buoyancy pada siswa. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian maka dapat ditarik kesimpulan bahwa peer support memiliki dampak bagi academic buoyancy pada siswa. Siswa dengan academic buoyancy dan dukungan sosial berdampak positif pada motivasi siswa. Ketika siswa merasa didukung dan diterima oleh teman-temannya, siswa memiliki kepercayaan diri dan motivasi yang lebih besar untuk mengatasi hambatan akademik. Selain itu, teman sebaya juga dapat memberikan dukungan praktis, seperti membantu mengerjakan tugas sekolah atau memberikan nasihat yang berguna dalam memecahkan masalah akademik. Dengan dukungan teman sebaya yang kuat, siswa merasa mampu mengatasi hambatan dan kegagalan, yang pada gilirannya meningkatkan academic buoyancy siswa. Implikasi dari peneitian ini dapat digunakan oleh peneliti selanjutnya untuk melakukan penelitian lebih lanjut tentang peer support dan academic buoyancy.
