Submission Guidelines

Medical and Health Journey Journal

General Requirements

Medical and Health Journey Journal accepts original scholarly manuscripts in the fields of medical and health sciences, including but not limited to:

  • Public Health
  • Clinical Medicine
  • Nursing
  • Pharmacy
  • Health Policy and Management
  • Biomedical Sciences

Submitted manuscripts must:

  • Be original and not previously published or under consideration elsewhere
  • Be written in clear and academic English
  • Comply with international publication ethics standards

Types of Manuscripts

The journal accepts the following types of articles:

  • Original Research Articles
  • Review Articles (Systematic or Narrative Reviews)
  • Case Reports
  • Short Communications

Manuscript Structure

Title Page

  • Concise and informative title (maximum 20 words)
  • Full names of all authors (without academic titles)
  • Institutional affiliations
  • Email address of the corresponding author

Abstract

  • Maximum 250 words
  • Written in a single paragraph
  • Should include: Background, Objective, Methods, Results, and Conclusion
  • Provide 3–5 keywords

Main Text

For Original Research Articles:

  1. Introduction
  2. Methods
  3. Results
  4. Discussion
  5. Conclusion

Acknowledgments

  • Acknowledge contributors, institutions, or funding bodies (if applicable)

Conflict of Interest

  • Authors must declare any potential conflicts of interest or clearly state none

Funding Statement

  • Clearly state all sources of financial support

Formatting Guidelines

  • File format: Microsoft Word (.doc or .docx)
  • Font: Times New Roman, 12 pt
  • Line spacing: 1.5
  • Margins: 2.5 cm on all sides
  • Length: 4,000–8,000 words
  • Include page numbers

Tables and Figures

  • Number sequentially (e.g., Table 1, Figure 1)
  • Table titles should appear above tables
  • Figure captions should appear below figures
  • Minimum image resolution: 300 dpi
  • Must be cited within the text

Reference Style

The journal uses APA Style (7th Edition)

Examples:

  • Journal Article:
    Author, A. A. (Year). Title of article. Journal Name, Volume(Issue), pages.
  • Book:
    Author, A. A. (Year). Book Title. Publisher.

Authors are strongly encouraged to use reference management tools such as:

  • Mendeley
  • Zotero
  • EndNote

Ethical Considerations

  • Research must comply with the Declaration of Helsinki
  • Studies involving humans must include ethical approval
  • Animal studies must follow animal welfare guidelines
  • Plagiarism must be avoided (maximum similarity index ? 20%)

8. Plagiarism Policy

All manuscripts will be screened using plagiarism detection tools such as:

  • Turnitin or iThenticate

Manuscripts with significant plagiarism will be immediately rejected.


Submission Process

Authors must:

  1. Register in the journal system
  2. Submit manuscripts via the online submission system
  3. Complete all metadata information
  4. Upload supplementary documents:
    • Cover Letter
    • Ethical Approval (if applicable)

Peer Review Process

  • The journal applies a double-blind peer review system
  • Each manuscript is reviewed by at least two reviewers
  • Review duration: approximately 2–6 weeks

Editorial decisions include:

  • Accepted
  • Minor Revision
  • Major Revision
  • Rejected

Article Processing Charge (APC)

  • Information regarding publication fees is available on the journal website
  • No submission fee is charged

Copyright and License

  • Authors retain copyright
  • Articles are published under a Creative Commons Attribution License (CC BY)

13. Language Editing

Authors whose first language is not English are strongly encouraged to use professional proofreading or language editing services prior to submission.


Final Notes

  • Manuscripts that do not follow these guidelines will be returned prior to review
  • The editorial team reserves the right to edit manuscripts without altering their scientific content
