Horizon of Public Health Sciences (Print ISSN XXXX-XXXX | Online ISSN XXXX-XXXX) is an international, peer-reviewed, open-access journal published biannually by the Faculty of Public Health, Universitas Muhammadiyah Palu, Indonesia. The journal is dedicated to advancing excellence in public health research through the dissemination of innovative, high-quality, and evidence-based scientific knowledge addressing contemporary public health issues at local, regional, and global levels. It provides an international scholarly platform for researchers, academics, practitioners, healthcare professionals, and policymakers to exchange ideas and promote interdisciplinary collaboration toward improving population health and sustainable healthcare systems.

The journal welcomes original research articles, systematic reviews, meta-analyses, methodological papers, policy analyses, case studies, and short communications across all areas of public health. Its scope includes epidemiology, biostatistics, environmental and occupational health, global health, health promotion, health education, maternal and child health, nutrition, communicable and non-communicable diseases, mental health, reproductive health, health policy and management, health economics, digital health, artificial intelligence in healthcare, disaster and emergency health, climate change and health, One Health, primary healthcare, community health, and Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).

All submitted manuscripts undergo a rigorous double-blind peer-review process conducted by independent experts to ensure originality, scientific merit, methodological rigor, ethical integrity, and relevance to the journal's aims and scope. The journal adheres to the Committee on Publication Ethics (COPE) Core Practices and maintains the highest standards of publication ethics, transparency, responsible authorship, conflict-of-interest disclosure, plagiarism prevention, and research integrity throughout the editorial process. As an open-access journal, all published articles are freely available under the Creative Commons Attribution 4.0 International (CC BY 4.0) license. Each article is assigned a Digital Object Identifier (DOI) through Crossref, supports ORCID integration, and is screened using plagiarism detection software before entering the peer-review process.
