Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif. Pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan wawancara, observasi dan studi dokumentasi. Teknik analisis data menggunakan teknik interaktif. Keabsahan data menggunakan teknik trianggulasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa : <strong><em>pertama</em></strong>, implementasi supervisi akademik kepala sekolah untuk meningkatkan kinerja guru, meliputi : a) Perencanaan supervisi akademik terdiri dari empat aspek yang dipersiapkan oleh kepala sekolah yaitu: (1) menetapkan tujuan yang ingin dicapai, (2) fokus&nbsp; pada sasaran yang ingin ditingkatkan, (3) menyusun strategi supervisi akademik, meliputi : (a) perlengkapan sarpras pendukung kegiatan supervisi akademik, (b) menetapkan guru yang&nbsp; akan disupervisi, (c) prosedur/strategi pelaksanaan supervisi akademik, dan (d) menginformasikan perencanaan program supervisi kepada guru, dan (4) menyusun jadwal supervisi akademik. This study uses a qualitative approach. Data collection was carried out by interviews, observation and documentation studies. Data analysis techniques using interactive techniques. The validity of the data using triangulation techniques. The results of the study show that: first, the implementation of the school principal's academic supervision to improve teacher performance, includes: a) Planning for academic supervision consists of four aspects prepared by the school principal, namely: (1) setting goals to be achieved, (2) focusing on targets to be improved, (3) develop strategies for academic supervision, including: (a) equipment for supporting infrastructure for academic supervision activities, (b) determine teachers to be supervised, (c) procedures/strategies for implementing academic supervision, and (d) inform program planning supervising teachers, and (4) arranging academic supervision schedules. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa Manajemen madrasah dalam penguatan pendidikan karakter di MTs Muhammadiyah Tolitoli dilakukan dengan menerapkan fungsi-fungsi manajemen, yaitu: perencanaan, pengorganisasian, pelaksanaan, pengawasan, monitoring dan evaluasi berdasarkan visi dan misi madrasah. Penguatan pendidikan karakter terintegrasi dalam keseluruhan program pendidikan dan pembelajaran di Madrasah Tsanawiyah Muhammadiyah Tolitoli yang meliputi kegiatan akademik dan non akademik&nbsp; dengan jadwal dan intensitas masing-masing serta diimplementasikan melalui penanaman nilai dan pembiasaan perilaku/karakter baik yang sesuai dengan nilai-nilai keislaman. Manajemen Madrasah dalam Penguatan Pendidikan Karakter yang diimplementasikan melalui penanaman nilai dan karakter yang baik berimplikasi pada perubahan karakter peserta didik kearah yang lebih baik dengan terbentuknya budaya disiplin yang semakin tinggi dengan rendahnya tingkat pelanggaran kedisiplinan di kalangan peserta didik yang berdampak pada kesiapan belajar, kepedulian yang tinggi, serta terbangunnya suasana hati yang positif untuk belajar.</em></p> <p><em>This study aims at exploring madrasa/Islamic school management in strengthening character education. This research is a qualitative research, which is sourced from primary data and secondary data collected by the method of observation, interviews and document study. The process of data analysis is carried out by reducing the data that has been collected and checking the validity of the data through the process of data triangulation, internal validation, external validation, analysis of contradictory findings and checking the reliability of data instruments. The results indicate that madrasa management in strengthening character education at MTs Muhammadiyah Tolitoli is carried out by implementing management functions, namely: planning, organizing, implementing, supervising, monitoring and evaluating based on the vision and mission of the madrasa. Strengthening character education is integrated into the entire education and learning program at MTs Muhammadiyah Tolitoli which includes academic and non-academic activities with their respective schedules and intensities and is implemented through instilling values </em><em>??</em><em>and habituating good behavior/character in accordance with Islamic values. Metode yang digunakan yakni penelitian kualitatif, pengumpulan data dilakukan melalui observasi, wawancara dan dokumentasi dan buku catatan. Sumber data berasal dari informan kepala madrasah, guru dan siswa madrasah aliyah Miftahul Jannah Lumbi-lumbia. Prosedur pengelolaan data yang dilakukan peneliti menggunakan uji Credibility, transferability, dependability, conformability. Hasil dari penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa, (1) implementasi kepemimpinan kepala madrasah dalam meningkatkan kualitas sekolah di madrasah aliyah Miftahul Jannah Lumbi-lumbia mengacu pada fungsi–fungsi manajemen, yang mana terdapat perencanaan, pengorganisasian, pelaksanaan, serta monitoring, evaluasi dan pengawasan (2) implikasi kepemimpinan kepala madrasah dalam meningkatkan kualitas sekolah di Madrasah Aliyah Miftahul Jannah Lumbi-lumbia telah terimplementasi dengan baik, terlihat dari strategi kepemimpinan dan gaya kepemimpinan, sehingga dapat memberikan implikasi sebagai berikut ; Pertama&nbsp; Terwujudnya Kinerja Tersistematis, Kedua Terwujudnya Visi Misi, Ketiga Teratasi hambatan yang ada, Keempat Menciptakan iklim kinerja yang harmonis,&nbsp; dan Kelima Tercapainya kepuasan kerja, sehingga dengan demikian maka kepemimpinan Kepala Madrasah dalam membangun Sekolah Berkualitas di Madrasah Aliyah Miftahul Jannah Lumbi-lumbia dapat diwujudkan. Selanjutnya direkomendasikan hal-hal sebagai berikut; Pertama untuk kepala madrasah dan guru agar dapat menjadi pendidik yang berusaha menciptakan iklim yang kondusif, serta bekerja sesuai keahlian masing-masing, Kedua bagi peneliti agar dapat menambah wawasan, dan bagi orang lain agar dapat menjadikan tambahan pelajaran dalam menerapkan manajemen kepemimpinan. </em></p> <p><em>This study aims to describe the leadership of Madrasah principals in building quality schools at Madrasah Aliyah Miftahul Jannah Lumbi-lumbia Banggai Kepulauan, which specifically focuses on the implementation and implications of the leadership of madrasah principals having an important role in improving school quality. The method used is qualitative research, data collection is done through observation, interviews and documentation and notebooks. The source of the data came from informants from the head of the madrasa, teachers and students at the Miftahul Jannah Lumbi-lumbia madrasah aliyah. Data management procedures carried out by researchers used the Credibility, transferability, dependability, conformability tests. The results of this study indicate that, (1) the implementation of the leadership of the madrasah head in improving the quality of schools in madrasa aliyah Miftahul Jannah Lumbi-lumbia refers to management functions, which include planning, organizing, implementing, as well as monitoring, evaluating and supervising (2 ) the implications of the leadership of the madrasah head in improving the quality of schools in Madrasah Aliyah Miftahul Jannah Lumbi-lumbia have been implemented properly, seen from the leadership strategy and leadership style, so that it can have the following implications; First, Realization of Systematic Performance, Second, Realization of Vision and Mission, Third, Overcoming existing obstacles, Fourth, Creating a harmonious performance climate, and Fifth, Achievement of job satisfaction, so that in this way the leadership of the Madrasah Principal in building Quality Schools at Madrasa Aliyah Miftahul Jannah Lumbi-lumbia can be realized . Penelitian ini bersifat deskriptif kualitatif. Teknik pengumpulan data dengan wawancara, observasi dan dokumentasi. Sumber data penelitian yaitu Kepala sekolah dan Guru-guru. Analisis data dilakukan dengan tahapan reduksi data, penyajian data dan verifikasi data serta penarikan kesimpulan. Pengecekan data dilakukan dengan trianggulasi teknik dan sumber.&nbsp; Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan; (l) peran kepala sekolah sebagai supervisor dalam meningkatkan kinerja guru di madrasah Aliyah Negeri Tolitoli yaitu dengan menyusun program supervisi dengan melibatkan guru, serta bekerjasama dengan seluruh pihak madrasah. Kepala sekolah melakukan kunjungan kelas setiap harinya, memberi motivasi kepada guru, pembinaan disiplin guru, memberi konsultasi, serta melaksanakan supervisi pembuatan Perangkat Pembelajaran. (2) Faktor yang mendukung Peran kepala Sekolah sebagai supervisor dalam meningkatkan kinerja guru adalah penggunaan teknologi dan informasi yang ada di sekolah dimana kepala sekolah memotivasi guru agar senantiasa berinovasi dengan memanfaatkan media teknologi pembelajaran sehingga peserta didik bersemangat mengikuti pembelajaran, guru juga diharapkan dapat melakukan variasi-variasi model-model pembelajaran melalui pemanfaatan IT serta komunikasi yang efektif, sumber daya yang memadai, program pengembangan profesional, dan pengakuan dan motivasi. Sedangkan faktor penghambatnya adalah kurang profesionalnya guru dalam mengajar, kualifikasi pendidikan yang masih rendah dan tidak sesuai dengan matapelajaran yang diampu, kedisiplinan guru dan peserta didik masih kurang, serta fasilitas pembelajaran yang belum mencukupi.</em></p> <p><em>This study aims to describe the role of the madrasa head as an educational supervisor at MAN Tolitoli and to analyze the supporting and inhibiting factors. This research is descriptive qualitative. Data collection techniques with interviews, observation and documentation. Sources of research data are the Head of Madrasah and Teachers. Data analysis was carried out with the stages of data reduction, data presentation and data verification as well as drawing conclusions. Checking data is done by triangulating techniques and sources. The results of this study show; (l) the role of the madrasah head as a supervisor in improving teacher performance at the Tolitoli State Aliyah Madrasah, namely by compiling a supervision program involving teachers, and in collaboration with all madrasah parties. The madrasa head conducts class visits every day, motivates teachers, fosters teacher discipline, provides consultations, and supervises the making of learning tools. (2) Factors that support the role of the principal as a supervisor in improving teacher performance is the use of technology and information in schools where the principal motivates teachers to always innovate by utilizing learning technology media so that students are enthusiastic about participating in learning, teachers are also expected to be able to vary -a variety of learning models through the use of IT and effective communication, adequate resources, professional development programs, and recognition and motivation. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan rancangan studi kasus. Pengumpulan data dilakukan melalui wawancara, observasi dan studi dokumen. Hasil Penelitian ini menunjukkan 1) Gaya kepemimpinan kepala sekolah dalam meningkatkan kualitas guru di Madrasah Aliyah Al-Ikhlas Tinabogan lebih dominan menerapkan gaya kepemimpin laissez-faire walaupun disaat-saat tertentu kadang juga memperlihatkan gaya kepemimpinan delegatif. Sedangkan untuk gaya partisipatif yang ditunjukkan sangatlah minim. 2) Implikasi gaya kepemimpinan kepala sekolah terhadap peningkatan kualitas guru di Madrasah Aliyah Al-Ikhlash Tinabogan memiliki dampak positif dan dampak kurang efektif, yaitu: a) Dampak positifnya adalah: Guru-guru memiliki kebebasan untuk mengembangkan ide-ide kreatif dan inovatif dalam melaksanakan tugas mereka, dapat mengambil inisiatif dan mengelola tugas-tugas mereka sendiri, dan dapat mengasah keterampilan mengatur, memotivasi, dan mempengaruhi orang lain; Sedangkan b) Dampak kurang efektifnya ialah: Kurangnya pemahaman yang jelas tentang tugas dan tujuan yang harus dicapai guru, kepala sekolah tidak memiliki mekanisme yang kuat untuk memantau dan mengevaluasi kinerja mereka untuk mencapai hasil yang diharapkan, dan kurangnya tanggung jawab karena keputusan yang penting tidak diambil secara tepat waktu, yang dapat menghambat kemajuan dan perkembangan madrasah. Terkait dengan dampak kurang efektifnya sebaiknya kepala sekolah dapat bersikap tegas dengan setiap keputusan yang telah diambil secara musyawarah serta meningkatkan pemantauan dan pengevaluasian kepala sekolah atas kinerja guru di Madrasah Aliyah Al-Ikhlash Tinabogan.</em></p> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p><em>This study aims to 1) Analyze the leadership styles of the principal at Madrasah Aliyah Al-Ikhlash Tinabogan. 2) Explore the implications of the principal's leadership styles on the improvement of teacher quality at Madrasah Aliyah Al-Ikhlash Tinabogan. This research uses a qualitative approach with a case study design. Data collection is done through interviews, observations, and document studies. The results of this study indicate that 1) The leadership style of the principal in enhancing teacher quality at Madrasah Aliyah Al-Ikhlas Tinabogan is predominantly characterized by the laissez-faire leadership style, although at certain times, the delegative leadership style is also displayed. However, the participative style is shown to be minimal. 2) The implications of the principal's leadership styles on the improvement of teacher quality at Madrasah Aliyah Al-Ikhlash Tinabogan have both positive and less effective impacts, namely: a) The positive impacts are that teachers have the freedom to develop creative and innovative ideas in carrying out their tasks, they can take initiatives and manage their own tasks, and they can enhance their skills in organizing, motivating, and influencing others; b) The less effective impacts are: a lack of clear understanding of the tasks and objectives that teachers should achieve, the principal lacks a strong mechanism to monitor and evaluate their performance to achieve the expected results, and a lack of responsibility because important decisions are not made on time, which can hinder the progress and development of the madrasah.
